Haridwar

Haridwar which means “the abode of Lord Vishnu” is located in the Uttarkhaand state of North India, where the river Ganges exits the Himalayan foothills. Haridwar is considered one of the seven holiest places in the Hindu religion. Aside from being a location popular for spirituality, Haridwar is also famous for activities such as trekking, rafting and bird-watching. One key attraction is the Rajaji National park.
